Look and Feel
Kingdom’s Rise: Legend of Elvenstone is an online slot game from Playtech with five reels, three rows and ten winning bet lines. This is the latest release in Playtech’s Kingdom’s Rise series following up on other titles such as Kingdom’s Rise: Captain’s Treasure and Kingdom’s Rise: Scorching Clouds. It’s the seventh game in the series.
The main feature of these linked games is that you can navigate from game-to-game via a map, and ‘buy’ features at the Kingdom’s Rise shop in one slot to use in another. Unfortunately for Kingdom’s Rise fans in the UK, this feature is not usually available because of UKGC regulations.
The Kingdom’s Rise series has three linked jackpots – Epic, Power Strike or Daily Strike – but not all casinos will offer them or offer linked play. These jackpots, when available, are awarded at random. In normal play, the maximum single-payline win is 500 coins.
Play for Real Money
You are unlikely, if you are resident in the UK, to be able to play this slot for free or play money. There are countless places where you can play for real money though, including Dunder Casino. This online slots site has a great deal going for it, including great deals for new and established slots players so make sure you check them out.
Your quest in Kingdoms Rise: Legend of Elvenstone begins when you select your total bet, which can be anything from £0.10 up to £500.000. Each spin cost ten coins, as there are ten paylines.
Nothing unusual here about wins. You need to land a minimum of three identical symbols on a payline from the left-hand reel onwards. Wins are paid as follows (in coins):
|Symbol||3 on a payline||4 on a payline||5 on a payline|
|Sword & Shield||5||10||30|
|Dark Blue Gem||1||5||10|
|Light Blue Gem||1||5||10|
There are a few special symbols too:
Dragon Symbol: You need four or more dragon symbols on the reels to trigger the Dragon Bonus. Dragon symbols only appear on reels one and five.
Wild Drop Symbol: These symbols can appear above the reels or on top of any symbols that are on the bottom or middle row. All symbols with a wild drop become wild, and then drop down one row per spin until they drop off of the reels.
Dragon Eye Symbol: This symbol only appears during the Dragon Bonus round.
Man Symbol: If a Man symbol appears under a Wild Drop symbol then the Wild Drop symbol moves to the top row of the playing arena for the next spin.
Woman Symbol: If a woman symbol appears under a Wild Drop symbol the Wild Drop’s multiplier will increase by one and the Wild Drop symbol will remain in place.
Rock Man Symbol: If a Rock Man symbol appears under a Wild Drop symbol then a new Wild Drop symbol will appear on the next reel while the initial Wild Drop symbol remains in place for the next spin.
The Dragon Bonus feature, when triggered will award three respins, during which the nine symbol positions spin independently. Any dragon eye symbols that land will turn into a coin and will be held in place for the remainder of your respins and the number of respins is reset to three. Any new Dragon Eye symbol that lands will make all visible Dragon Eye symbol coin values be added to the overall total.
You can also collect tokens during the game which then can be used to buy features for any Kingdoms Rise slot, but this feature is unlikely to be available in the UK because of UKGC regulations.
Graphics and Sounds
The music and sounds used for this game make for a very odd combination. The background sounds are a very mellow, soothing soundtrack that would not seem out of place if used in any fantasy film. Some of the other sounds – such as electro-sounding stabs – do seem out of place though. Indeed, the beeps when you increase your coin size or the number of automatic spins seem old-fashioned enough to be quaint.
The graphics are good enough, but don’t expect to be bowled over-the-moon by this slot’s appearance or be thrilled by the eye candy on offer. We have to trot out one of our favourite sayings when it comes to the graphics chosen for this game – they get the job done.
This game may seem a little complicated when you read through the information but once you start playing you will soon see it is not as complicated as it sounds. Most of the games released under the Kingdom’s Rise series have some kind of wandering wild feature, so if you’ve played one, you’ll be in safe hands.
