Comprehensive List of Foxium Slots Sites

While some companies light fireworks and stand on top of tall buildings when championing their latest slots releases, others take a softer approach and let the games themselves do the talking. Foxium perhaps fits into the latter category, but then again they are one of the smaller software companies that exist in the slotting realm.

Founded in Tallinn in Estonia in 2015, Foxium have found it difficult to make a name for themselves and have so far only released a dozen or so online slots. All of their slots have been released via partnerships with B2B companies, namely NYX Interactive (themselves part of SG Digital) and Microgaming.

Foxium make so little song and dance about themselves that you may have even played one of their games without realising that you have!

Who are Foxium?

Not a great deal is known about Foxium. All that is known is that they became a business in Tallinn, Estonia in 2015, and there they remain. Their initial games were developed on a slots software platform called Odobo. Odobo looked very promising – they won the EGR award for ‘Rising Star’ in 2014 – so it looked a safe bet for Foxium to go with them. However, Odobo unexpectedly went out of business in 2016, leaving Foxium high and dry.

The bosses at Foxium approached NYX Interactive and Microgaming for help. Both these companies had software platforms as a B2B supplier – NYX Interactive had Open Gaming System while Microgaming had Quickfire. Foxium signed deals with both businesses and began some serious slots development. Initially Foxium’s games were put out by NYX Interactive and SG Digital, but in more recent years it’s been a case of Microgaming handling their distribution.

Despite being in business for five years, the release of Foxpot in 2020 took the number of games within Foxium’s tight little portfolio to thirteen.

What Makes Foxium Unique?

Foxium do work hard to get their slots out there. As well as the deals with NYX Interactive and Microgaming, the company has also partnered with other big names within the slotting universe. The list of Foxium partners includes Betsson, 1XBet, BoyleSports, GVC Holdings, EveryMatrix, Jumpman Gaming and William Hill.

This Estonia company is also attempting to come up with common themes across its entire range. For example, many of their slots have a feature called ‘Foxify’ in which a player can up their stake in the hope of increasing the chances of them triggering a decent-sized win (this feature is not available in all jurisdictions, though).

With the release of Boom Pirates Foxium unleashed their Wonderways concept which is uncannily similar to Big Time Gaming’s Megaways feature. Boom Pirates is a 5×4, all ways pay slot with 1,024 paylines. With the Wonderways feature turned on, the slot becomes a 6×9 grid, with the number of ways to win increased to a staggering 10,077,696.

What Could Foxium Do Better?

Over time Foxium’s games have just become better and better. The release of 3 Tiny Gods in 2020 really made people sit up and take notice of Foxium and maybe even for the first time. This slot came complete with cinema-standard graphics and stunning visuals.

So, in answer to the question ‘what could Foxium do better’ we’d say more slots like 3 Tiny Gods, and more often!

Three of the Best – Foxium Games

3 Tiny Gods

3 Tiny Gods slot review

In terms of pure looks, easily Foxium’s best release. Playing this slot commences with an (optional) animation that shows the three gods – Horus (eagle), Bastet (cat) and Anubis (dog) arriving in Ancient Egypt and bewitching a pharaoh and his bride.

This game has a fixed number of paylines at 30, plus some godly side games including the ‘Mystery of Horus’ in which Eye of Horus symbols fill two or three reels at a time, replacing all random symbols.

Each specific tiny god has their own side game and hence their own part to play in this Foxium game. An excellent online slots game worth playing for the eye candy alone.

The Great Albini

The Great Albini Slot Review

One of Foxium’s games released via the Microgaming platform, The Great Albini takes its name from the magician who has the spotlight during this game.

Aided by his beautiful and ‘well-blessed in the chest department’ assistant Lily, The Great Albini will perform many magical feats for you in an effort to win you a few cash jackpots.

This game features free spins where Lily suddenly appears as a symbol in her own right and super-sized too!

Lily is wild and any win that contains a Lily symbol is automatically multiplied by two. This game was one that showcased just how far Foxium had come in a relatively short space of time.

Stumpy McDoodles

Stumpy McDoodles Online Slot

How could on possibly resist the charms of a slot called Stumpy McDoodles? This was another Foxium slot released via Microgaming, and indeed such was the fanfare it generated via Microgaming that many people came under the impression that this was a Microgaming slot.

For this game Foxium went down the very well-trodden path of Irish-themed slots. Stumpy seems to be some kind of leprechaun fellah but his wife (who we assume is called Mrs McDoodles) makes a bigger contribution to the game than he does. This game has the usual symbols, scatter and bonus games.

Like most of Foxium’s games this title had the ‘Foxify’ feature which enabled players to enhance their gameplay for an extra free. The free spins feature can be bought too, although both these options were not available for players in the UK.

Q. Are Foxium’s games licensed?

A. Foxium are based in Estonia, which does not have a licensing body. Foxium does not have a licence themselves, but as they release their games via Microgaming, they have licensing provided for them, as it were, via Microgaming.

Q. Do Foxium’s games have progressive jackpots?

A. No. There are currently zero Foxium games that have a progressive jackpot. This company is probably too small to create slots with such high-paying jackpots.

Q. What does ‘Foxify’ mean when it comes to some Foxium titles?

A. It’s a short-cut way of increasing the chances of bigger wins when you play a Foxium-created game, but it comes with a bigger premium (higher stakes). It is not available in some jurisdictions though, including the UK.

The Bottom Line

There is one thing that can surely be said about Foxium’s output – it’s a question of quality rather then quantity. This company have not produced hordes of slots, but the games they have come up with have been truly excellent. The company have recovered from some setbacks in their past but have gone on to bigger and better things, and long may that continue.
